Abstract
This research focuses on the design and manufacture of egg scrub tools and cleaners that are economical and can function properly and are energy efficient. The specific target of this research is to get the right technology for economical egg washer. This research is an experimental study, where the object of the study is an economical egg washer. The research method of the automatic egg counter conveyor system is that the egg will enter the washing device using a conveyor system, then the iron egg will come out and continue by passing through the Infra Red sensor which then the results of the calculation will appear on the LCD. Test by washing duck eggs to find out the production capacity and quality of washing results. Data retrieval techniques with documentation studies to obtain machine performance test results data. The results of this study were obtained by the egg washing machine design using a 240 watt electric motor, conveyor speed of 0.8 m / minute, 100 watt pump power connected to a rough cleaning brush with a rotary speed of 2900 rpm.at 2900 rpm, electricity consumption of Rp.237,000 / hour, with a capacity of 480 grains / hour. This greatly shortens the processing time of rubbing as well as washing the salted egg, compared to using your own hands that only produce as much as 300 grains / hour. The conclusion of the automatic egg counter conveyor system testing is in accordance with the desired and runs according to the principle of work that has been planned. It is expected that the automatic egg counter conveyor system can be developed or refined and can be used as a reference about production technology, especially in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME).
