This research focuses on the design of the COVID-19 GATES tool that functions to efficiently check body temperature and vaccines in public places to reduce interactions between humans. When checking body temperature and vaccine cards, which are carried out conventionally, there will be queues due to the lack of workers who carry out checks. From these problems, COVID-19 GATES (CIGG) were created which can reduce the number of queues. The results of the product design in this study were then tested on 22 people and the test results obtained that the checking time could be minimized to 30.14 seconds from 55 seconds to 24.86 seconds and reduced interaction between visitors and staff by 86.36 percent. Therefore, this COVID-19 GATES has a good impact in reducing the time for checking visitors and interacting with officers  when entering the marketplace so that this tool can be a solution in this pandemic era to enter public places and be able to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia.
