Karangrejo village is one of the villages located in Kromengan District, Malang Regency, East Java. Karangrejo village is dominated by two main livelihoods, namely agriculture and UMKM. Karangrejo Village is a village known as a traditional herbal medicine center in South Malang Regency. UMKM Traditional herbal medicine in Karangrejo Village has developed for a long time and is centered in one of the hamlets of Karangrejo Village, namely Krantil Hamlet. The development of UMKM traditional herbal medicine in Karangrejo Village is carried out as one of the community's efforts to increase income. The community of Karangrejo Village formed a container for the herbal medicine community called the Gendong Kartini Association to accommodate and invite the community to develop the potential of UMKM traditional herbal medicine. However, although Karangrejo Village has abundant natural elements and supporting human resources in agriculture, UMKM traditional herbal medicine in Karangrejo Village still has problems such as income from traditional herbal ingredients which are still obtained from outside the village. In addition, the UMKM traditional herbal medicine marketing system is still not widespread. Therefore, it is necessary to develop UMKM traditional herbal medicine in Karangrejo Village to increase the potential of the village and the community's economy.
