Concrete is one of the most used materials on the planet after water. The manufacture of concrete produces about 4.5 percent of the world's human-caused carbon dioxide emissions. Whereas, one of the many factors that have a negative impact on the environment and surroundings is solid waste. Especially plastic. Plastic is a type of solid waste that plays an important role with environmental impacts. Reusing plastics as a concrete additive can divert plastics that will mostly end up in landfills. As well as helping to conserve natural resources such as sand. The use of plastic as a substitute for a small portion of concrete can help to reduce the global carbon footprint of the cement industry. Keywords: Plastic, Concrete, Carbon Dioxide Emissions, Anisa Rizki Maulidania, Ratih Artanti, Yunita Listiana Putri, IYCEI 2021
